Dr. Christina Sehy VerSchave grew up in a small farming community in south-central Illinois. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois. For her scholastic efforts, Dr. VerSchave received the prestigious honor of Bronze Tablet Scholar, which is recognized with her name engraved on a bronze tablet that hangs in the University’s Library.
Dr. VerSchave completed her dental education at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry. While there, she had the opportunity to travel to Colorado to work as a dentist in the Salud Family Health Center in Fort Lupton. Although Dr. VerSchave had visited Colorado several times, this trip reinforced her desire to make Colorado home. After working as an associate dentist in a busy general practice in a northwest suburb of Chicago, Dr. VerSchave moved to Colorado in 2007.
Dr. Christina Sehy VerSchave is a firm believer in continuing education and insists on keeping up with the latest techniques and technologies affecting the dental profession. She has attended numerous courses covering such topics as implants, root canal therapy, Invisalign, cosmetic and restorative dentistry, and gum disease. Dr. VerSchave has committed to studying with the best dentists and is actively involved in the Synergy Training Program, a study club with oral surgeon, Dr. Tom Stone, and other area dentists. Dr. VerSchave has also studied with many dentists and specialists in the area through the Mile High Study Club. Other professional organizations of which Dr. VerSchave is a member include the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, Metro Denver Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and the Cranial Academy.
Outside of the office, Dr. VerSchave keeps busy chasing after her twin baby girls, Reese and Graycin. You might also catch her running with her dog, Carter, on one of the many trails near her home or trying to keep up with her husband, Everett, on a mountain bike. Dr. VerSchave also loves skiing, gardening, traveling, visiting her family, and greatly enjoys getting to know her community.
